Adana can be an important alternative for winter tourism
Adana Tourism Development and Infrastructure Service Association (ATGAB) President Necip Topuz congratulated Pozantı Mayor Mustafa Çay for his efforts on Elmalı Ski and Life Center Project.
Topuz said that they, as ATGAB, appreciated the efforts of Pozantı Mayor Mustafa Çay to build a ‘Ski and Life Center’ in the Akçatekir Elmalı Strait, and said, “The Elmalı Strait location is 80 km from Adana, 50 km from Tarsus, and to Niğde. It is 100 km away. It is 12 km away from the TEM highway passing through Pozantı. The altitude of the facility to be established is approximately 2000 meters from the sea, 30-50 cm thick snow falls per square meter in winter season and the terrain is perfect for winter sports. This important potential is with a ski resort to be established. Our city will be an important center of attraction for winter sports.
